The REM5 adapter cable allows off the shelf radio interface cables to be connected to an E&M port of a router. This RJ45 to TA5M adapter cable, is used with any of the radio cables, marked with REM5. The TA5 series of connectors are often used for interfacing to portable radios. Sometimes called Mini XLR connectors, they are commonly used with high noise headsets. The REM-5 does not provide COR to the E&M port, so you must enable VAD. |
